Bar atmosphere, dog-friendly options, local pub access
The decor feels outdated and tired!!! Small bathroom can be a squeeze for anyone looking for comfort!!! pre-ordering breakfast is quite inconvenient, especially when you may change your mind daily.

We had a wonderful time staying at this inn with our family, especially our grandchild. The location was perfect for exploring the great outdoors. We enjoyed walks and even managed to fit in a little hiking during our stay. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.
My children wished there were more activities available for kids during the stay.

The bar had local ale and a good atmosphere. I felt comfortable in the twin room with a nice tea and coffee setup. The breakfast was enjoyable with a variety of options. I appreciate the friendly service from the breakfast staff, which made my visit pleasant.
The cleanliness could be improved as I found hairs in the bath. The heating made showering a challenge with inconsistent water temperatures.

the only downsides were that the car park was a bit tricky to find and it got a bit hot in the room at night.
